Note From Amy

November 14, 2008

Hello all!

I just wanted to write a quick note to thank everyone for the views, comments, subscriptions, and emails. The blog is getting more and more popular by the day! Also, I received an email last night from John DeChiaro. He is asking I post and pass this on. On Sept. 11th, 2008, he put together a thank you letter for our President, George W Bush, thanking him for his service to our country and for keeping us safe for the past 7 years. I think it is a great gesture, and encourage you to sign it and pass it on to everyone. He has endured so much criticism in the past 8 years, and I think he needs to know that there are a lot of us who appreciate him. The press release is as follows:

THANK YOU PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH

NEW WEBSITE LAUNCHED THANKING PRESIDENT BUSH FOR HIS 7 YEARS OF PROTECTION

A new website has been launched that contains a simple, non-political, thank you note to President George W. Bush.  The letter was written on 9/11/2008 and it thanks the President for his efforts in keeping “my” country safe.   It is written in the first person and acknowledges the fact that the country has not been attacked in seven years.  The site provides the ability for individuals to sign the letter.  Currently there are over 150 signatures.

To sign the petition, follow this link: www.thankyoupresidentgeorgewbush.com . After signing, you will be redirected to a page that asks for a donation to the website that hosts the petition (NOT TYPGWB). As long as it says something to the effect of: “Your signature has been added!”, you are set. You can exit or return to this site to view your signature.

Thank you again for all the blog support!
